Get started
In this article we’ll demonstrate how to use the “Add Jobs Manually” product feature so you can import jobs you find outside of Callings.
Open your Job Tracker. Click the blue “Add Jobs Manually” button.
A window will pop up, offering the options of “Paste Link” or “Paste Text”. Choose the “Paste Text” option.
Navigate to the job description you’d like to import. Let’s just say you found a role on the Adobe careers page.
Copy the entire job description including the company name. Paste the job description into the appropriate “Add Jobs Manually” window in your Callings Job Tracker. Do the same for the job description URL. Then click the blue “Add Job” button.
When the job is successfully added, there will literally be a pop-up in the right hand corner that announces “Job Added Successfully”. Yay!
Close the pop-up window and navigate to your Job Tracker to watch your imported job description materialize before your eyes. Now, leveraging our Callings feature for adding jobs, you can streamline the import process.
Click on the freshly arrived job description to start assessing your qualifications and getting your application materials ready to go.
You’re set to go
Now you know how to import roles from anywhere on the internet into your Callings.ai Job Tracker dashboard. One thing to note is that in performing this awesome task, you are not training our AI to find similar jobs to the one you added.
Removing or archiving the role will also not train our AI. So you are free to use the “Add Jobs Manually” feature to prepare for roles that might differ from the base resume you initially uploaded to your account.

Finally, we’ll leave you with a bit of advice. Apply to roles directly on a company’s website rather than through any other platform. This ensures that the role is still being listed by the company itself. Other parties might be listing a role that is actually no longer available.
